A sampling of some of my shader, fur and look development done for various characters in VFX and Animation.
I began my VFX film career working on some pretty cool movies as a texture artist. I had the opportunity to work on some pretty memorable characters and consider myself lucky to have worked at some of the best VFX studios alongside some of the most talented VFX artists in the world. Below is a sampling of my texture character work:
In early 2013 I became fascinated with the opportunities of desktop 3D printing and manufacturing. It was becoming easier than ever as an artist to create your own product without having to spend months of time prototyping and tens of thousands of dollars.
What most excited me is that many of my peers already possessed the skill of design and 3D modeling, which is the one hurdle to get started. I quickly decided I wanted to create a brand, something to inspire others to start experimenting with digital fabrication. I joined forces with friend and 3D printing artist Robert Vignone, and as they say the rest is history.
It's been a lot of hard work but well worth the effort and we look forward of what's to come!
